The Reservoir Of Optimism

Hailed as Kommune‘s reservoir of optimism, Roshan’s tremendous experience as an anchor, emcee, director, impresario, theatre artist is vital in providing relentless drive and direction towards Kommune‘s goals. Roshan balances his invaluable time between masterminding the everyday activities of the hugely successful event management firm Encompass, and in dedicating his tireless energy towards Kommune’s bustling calendar.

Gaurav’s knowledge provides an in-depth understanding of what works and what doesn’t in content strategy and live shows; hence ensuring that all our initiatives offer the best possible experience to the viewer and nothing less than that!

Tess Joseph

Tess Joseph

Khaleesi

With a constant hunger for conquest and an undying fire in her belly, Tess Joseph is Kommune’s Khaleesi on a mission. Tess ensures that Kommune’s wheels are well oiled and running with slick and efficient proficiency, relentlessly executing the visions of our co-founders with surgical precision. Tess is also Kommune’s ace-in-the-hole when it comes to workshops for social change. Another note to keep in mind, Khaleesi is one of Kommune’s star storytellers!

Hari Sankar

Hari Sankar

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

A year and a half into his dull corporate job, Hari asked himself a very amusing question. “What if my life was a book?”. As a prologue to that book, he sent his “I quit” mail to his boss. When it was almost certain that he was going to die poor and broke, Jesus Christ appeared in the form of Ankur Tewari and gave him shelter at Kommune. Since then he has been the Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Kommune, building Beatmap, a map to the quirkiest performance spaces in the city. When he is not entrepreneur-ing, Hari is busy being Kommune’s foot soldier, switching roles rapidly between bartender, storyteller and anything else Kommune requires him to be!

Shamir Reuben

Shamir Reuben

Head of Wordsmithing and Socializing

Shamir is Kommune’s go-to-man for anything related to content and social media. Largely content with his content, Reuben is Kommune’s only in-house slam poetry performer, and loves binge watching poetry in his free time. He is also extremely active (on social media) and loves marathons (only Game of Thrones and Whose Line Is It Anyway). He utilizes his unhealthy obsession with writing, lame puns and terrible jokes to ensure that Kommune’s content is quick, crisp and quirky.
